Salary- Demonstrates professional, appropriate, effective and tactful written, verbal, and nonverbal communication with patient, families, medical staff, colleagues, vendors, and other departments throughout the continuum of care to promote continuity of care and services and enhance clinic image.
- Demonstrates positive professional customer service in all patient, staff, and visitor contacts
- Utilizes interpersonal skills to establish and maintain healthy interpersonal relationships with healthcare members, patients, and families.
- Acknowledges patient's rights on confidentiality issues, maintains patient confidentiality at all times, and follows HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
- Participates in staff development activities and orientation as requested.
- Proactively acts as patient advocate, responding to and working to resolve patient concerns.
- Responsible for following equipment maintenance protocol, identifying problems, and coordinating appropriate repairs.
- Operation of various office machines (i.e. fax, copier, phone, and computer).
- Participates effectively as a team member in the clinic.
- Under supervision and guidance of licensed physical therapy staff: assists with patient treatments; carries out, monitors and/or adjusts treatment utilizing therapy techniques modalities, and equipment for which competency has been demonstrated; assumes responsibility for patient's care, safety and environment throughout treatment; observes, reports and records all pertinent patient information according to department policy.

- Miscellaneous office duties, i.e. scheduling, filing, and/or retrieving medical records.
- Scheduling of patients for physical therapy visits.
- Operation of various office machines (i.e. copy machine, fax machine).
- Community public relations and marketing.
- Verifies insurance coverage with companies and obtaining referrals, when appropriate.
- High school diploma or GED
- Medical experience preferred.
- Obtain CPR certification within three (6) months of hire date
