Job Description
Nichols School is seeking a dynamic and experienced full-time Mathematics Department Chair to lead our mathematics faculty and contribute to the continued success and growth of our mathematics department beginning with the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a strong background in mathematics education, a commitment to student success, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

- have a passion for student-centered instruction that centers on exploratory learning.
- will actively participate in an on-going, school-wide curriculum review using backward design.
- integrate technology into teaching and learning.
- possess a mathematics degree or degree in a related field.
- enjoy being part of the life of the school beyond the classroom.
- can serve as an athletic coach or leader of student activities.
- are committed to continually strengthening and reflecting on their teaching practice through work with other faculty and a growth coach.
This position has a salary range of $41,000 - $90,000.
