We are looking for several dynamic tutors to teach predominately MATH and some ELA,Monday-Fridayat local schools during the school day.
POSITION DETAILS:
We are looking for several dynamic tutors to teach predominately MATH and some ELA,Monday-Fridayat local schools during the school day.
POSITION DETAILS:
- Part-Time: 15-30 hours a week, Monday-Friday, hours and days may vary
- Duration: December 2023 to May 2024
- Location: Columbus Area Public Schools
- High School-aged students, Math & ELA
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Prior teaching experience preferred.
- Valid teaching certificate preferred.
COMPENSATION:
- With Bachelors Degree: From $25.00 per hour.
- With valid Teaching Certification: From $28.00 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize Huntington Learning Center’s instructional procedures and curriculum
- Work with the Lead Teacher and Program Director to implement instructional programs
- Follow school policies and procedures; supervise students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from the classroom
- Maintain student records of attendance and progress
- Administer computerized baseline tests at established intervals

- Possess basic computer operating knowledge
