Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive math lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards
- Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Provide individualized support to students who need extra help in math concepts
- Assess student progress through tests, quizzes, and homework assignments
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues about student performance and progress
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Teaching certification or license in math
- Previous experience teaching math at the middle or high school level
- Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of curriculum standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to excel in math
