Job Description

Ascend Elements is revolutionizing the production of lithium-ion battery materials by establishing a clean and sustainable supply chain using recycled feedstock. Its patented Hydro-to-Cathode™ technology directly synthesizes new cathode materials from spent lithium-ion cells more efficiently than traditional methods, resulting in reduced cost, improved performance, and lowered GHG emissions. The results are lower cost, better performance batteries with fewer discarded in landfill, a cleaner manufacturing process, and a truly sustainable closed-loop circular battery economy. Ascend Elements is taking the lithium-ion battery industry to a higher level.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Materials Receiving & Inventory Coordinator at our site in Hopkinsville, KY. • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize receiving and inventory processes, such as implementing automation, barcode scanning, or other efficiency-enhancing technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve process flows and reduce lead times.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Communicate effectively regarding delivery schedules, quality issues, and any other related matters.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Required Skills/Abilities:
