Materials (Mpl) Team Leader

The MPL Team Leader is responsible for all material coming in and out. Making sure every bit of product is scanned properly and running daily inventory reports. Also keeping up on the cleanliness of the warehouse. On average, our MPL Team Leaders will 45 hours+ per week. Our teams are comprised of hardworking, dedicated individuals who work in both ambient and temperature controlled areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Scans pallets/totes at dock plate when hi-lo driver brings them to the dock.
• Clarifies the dock number, carrier, and trailer number on the load ID.
• Handling all inbound and outbound truck deliveries/shipments.
• Checks all pallets for any quality issues such as torn tags, broken pallets, torn wrap, or damage to stock.
• Ensures a three-time scanning process is followed.
• Unloads and reloads material systematically
• Communicate with supervisor & MPL Manager on the day to day operations, material needs, and employee issues.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• A minimum of 1 - 3 years of progressive experience in a warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations, in the automotive manufacturing industry a plus
• Hi-lo driver experience required
• Ability to demonstrate a complete understanding of the shipping system.
