However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Materials Handler Inspector (Medical Waste) without more than normal supervision. Ensure that needed plans, blueprints, materials and tools are available; ensure that safety and housekeeping rules are followed; Insure that floors and corridors are free of contaminated and/or Medical Waste products; Note and report conditions requiring correction action involving the segregation, transporting, storage and disposal of Regulated Medical waste. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.

- PHYSICAL EFFORT: The incumbent may occasionally lift and move objects weighing over 50 pounds (scrap, trash, cars, crates, etc). Physical effort is exerted in walking to, between and thru buildings, on grounds of campus and in parking garages multi-levels.
- WORKING CONDITIONS: The incumbent works in both areas indoors and outdoors. The incumbent is continually exposed to dirt, dust, grease etc: and standing on hard surface floors.
