Adecco is seeking an experienced Material Handler for a local client based out of Windsor, CT. This role is a temp to hire opportunity.
Position Details:
· 1st shift
· 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
· Pay: $18/hr
Your Expertise :
· 3+ years' experience in an aerospace production environment
· Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to multi-task
· Ability to problem solve and make decisions based on data and instruction
· Interpret travelers and work instructions
· Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and ERP system experience.
Your Challenge:
· Performs various material and inventory transactions, cycle counts, and receiving functions to complete purchase order function into ERP.
· Maintain and organize material storage areas daily.
· Collaborate with Planners to plan and create satellite travelers and job split transactions for production machining, raw material, and semi-finished components.
· Perform Shipping and Receiving functions which include: shipping semi-finished goods, raw material & details, consumable tooling, etc.
· Review shipping and receiving documents for accuracy. Reject damaged items, record shortages, and other conditions.
· Coordinate with operations in moving parts/material, and expediting job orders around the facility. Operate lift truck or hand truck to move, convey or hoist materials, or product
· Wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and comply with all company and safety rules and regulations during course of dutie s.
Education Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent required
Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
