Material Planning Supervisor

Boart Longyear is looking to hire a new Global Material Planning Manager to lead the Material Planning team. This position is located Salt Lake City, UT. The Global Material Planning Manager's responsibilities include leading the team to achieve KPI targets, coaching and training team, maintaining a positive relationship with manufacturing, and supporting suppliers, coordinating with internal teams regarding their supply needs, and supporting the SIOP process. This role is also responsible to manage all aspects of supply chain strategy, coordinating with manufacturing on efficient supply flow, supplier management, working with the souring team to support projects. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business or related field required; master's degree preferred.

Three years of experience as a supervisor, manager, or similar relevant position required.

Good supervisory and leadership skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Proven statistical and data analysis.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Must possess the ability to multi-task and work successfully in an international and multi-functional team.

Lead and manage multiple projects from inception to completion within constraints and deadlines.

Understanding of an ERP environment (Oracle ERP and Qlikview Dashboard) is a strong plus.

Experience leading cross-functional peers and customers toward a shared vision to achieve aspirational and stretch goals together.
Position Responsibilities:

Working with the BLY manufacturing on supply orders, volume requirements, raw material management and velocity improvement.

Internal and external supply management.

Purchase order to payment process adherence.

Training new employees in supply chain and procurement process.

Coach, train, and lead Material Planning team members to ensure compliance and monitor all supply chain activities.

Continuous improvement focus.

Lead team in company goals, team KPIs and initiatives.

Open and frequent communication to support the internal customers.

Support and contribute to the SIOP process
