INCOMING RECEIVING
· Maintains a High Level of Inventory Accuracy and Confidence of Data in and Data out
· Verifies packing slip/BOL shipments. Compares identifying information and counts, weights, or measures of incoming shipments to verify information against bill(s) of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
· Files Damaged Claims reports with Carrier and communicate with Finance.
· Unpacks and examines incoming shipments as needed, spot count vendor quantities, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and communicates with purchasing to rectify damages and shortages.
· Routes items to correct departments.
· Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
· May use hand truck to move materials.
· Maintain the Inventory Management System (Epicor)to ensure that physical inventory matches the Epicor inventory systems.
· Must be willing to train and become a viable back-up for other jobs within the department.
· ATTENDANCE: Good attendance includes reporting to work on time, sticking to work schedules, being prepared to start work on time, remaining on the job during the workday to complete assigned duties and limited use of unscheduled leave.
· QUALITY: Every employee has the responsibility “to do it right the first time” to provide the customer a product that meets their requirements
· Attend Daily meeting to report on shipping and receiving from the previous day.
