Material Handler/Forklift Operator

Duties:

- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment, such as pallet jacks, lift trucks, clamp trucks, and order pickers.
- Safely load and unload materials onto and off of trucks or storage racks.
- Move materials within the warehouse using forklifts and other equipment.
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate inventory counts and load weights.
- Follow proper safety procedures and protocols while operating equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
-Ability to hoist, manipulate, and maneuver barrels and drums weighing up to 250lbs.

Experience:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Proficient in the use of various types of forklifts, including hi-lo, clamp truck, and order picker.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and processes.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in load/unload procedures.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Recommended:

-Minimum 1 year of experience with Plastic Injection Molding, or a general background in polymers.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.17 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
