Job Description
Summary: Seeking a Material Handler II with 3+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
High School Diploma
3+ years of experience in a warehouse setting, ideally within a manufacturing environment
Forklift certification or the ability to become certified
Proficient computer skills in a windows environment, MRP/ERP systems; MS Office
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
Responsibilities:
Receive, verify, store and issue parts, supplies and materials
Report missing or damaged items to Supervisor
Operate forklift and other equipment relative to the activities of the stock room
Prepare and pack parts, supplies and materials for delivery
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the stock room
Perform related clerical duties as required
Take initiative to ensure parts are in correct bins
Perform daily cycle counts and additional miscellaneous duties relating to department needs
Assemble products and kit for manufacturing following precise specifications
Maintain work area cleanliness and adhere to safety regulations
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, use hands for typing or handling objects, talk, hear, stand all day, walk, reach with hands/arms
Occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs; heavier loads require team lift or lifting equipment
Meet specific vision requirements including close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusting focus
Ability to ascend/descend stairs
Work Environment:
Work may involve exposure to compressed gases, mechanical robotic equipment or chemicals such as Acetone/IPA. Occasional high noise levels may be present. The role also involves operating forklifts/hand trucks/lift trucks.
Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
