Job Title - Material Handler II
Pay-rate- 2nd Shift - (Mon- Fri 3pm to 1130pm)
Position Summary
Under close supervision, responsible for the movement and supply of materials with the manufacturing 0rganization. Performs basic movement of materials as well as loading, unloading, dispatch, replenishment and cycle count activities.
Essential Areas Of Responsibility:

• Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.
• Responsible for checking on replacement of components.
• Responsible for shipping and receiving and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
• Responsible for coordinating and dispatching components to various departments.
• Responsible for stacking and wrapping pharmacy kits.
• Collecting documents and samples from various departments.
• Responsible for inspecting company vehicle to ensure optimal working condition.
• Responsible for maintaining inventory integrity in JDE.
• Responsible to collect and put away recycles, cycle counts and inventory.
• Troubleshoots issues in Pharmacy and Packaging as they arise.
• Responsible for transporting material equipment and control substances to various sites using company vehicle.
• Uses various types of material handling equipment, such as fork lift, pallet jack and order pickers to process daily tasks.
• Responsible for maintaining work areas and performing job functions in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Batch Record instructions.
• Responsible for performing additional related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Education/Certification/Experience:
• Require high school diploma or equivalent and 2 or more years of experience working in manufacturing environment preferably in a pharmaceuticals, cosmetics or food industry’ or an equivalent of education and experience.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
• Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory requirements.
• Business English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
• Business and personal computer hardware software applications.
• Experience with JD Edwards operating systems or similar ERP system.
• Experience with multiple types of material handling equipment.
• Experience with wireless radio frequency hand held devices.
• Prior experience with Pharmaceuticals material handling or equivalent industry.
• Current company policies and practices, including safety rules and regulations.
