Essential Job Functions: (list or attach job description):
Receives packages from 3rd party carriers. Inspects and verifies for damages or missing parts.
Counts and compares physical parts against packing slips.
Receives into inventory via RF Scanner or SAP. Prints and applies proper labels to parts.
Places parts on proper racks for put away, and will assist in putting away if needed.
Receives and delivers other parts for internal customers throughout the building.
Works with the Purchasing Dept to research and resolve receiving discrepancies.
Skills/Experience Required:
MS Office and similar business software applications
Experience with labeling and barcode applications preferred
Experience with ERP (SAP or Oracle) preferred
Experience shipping and receiving and other warehouse tasks preferred
Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience with handling electronics/optics a plus.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
