Summary
Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near warehouse or yard by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Reads Warehouse Instructions or follows oral instructions to move materials or containers.
Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
Secures lifting attachments to material handling equipment and conveys load to destination.
Counts and records products for shipment from a warehouse instruction worksheet.
Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, pallets, or other containers.
Operates lift truck to load materials and containers onto truck trailers.
Maintain proper maintenance at assigned lift truck.
Stacks or assembles materials onto pallets and stretch wraps together.
Operates forklift truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
Locate inventory using filled out location logs and turning them in regularly.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); One or two years related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Also must have the ability to read and write English.
