1. Creating M&P requirement
- Clarify and comply material qualification and regulatory certification requirements.
- Document design data such as specifications, qualification and certification plans/reports, material test plans/reports for submission to commercial aircraft engine regulatory agencies such as FAA designated authorities.
- Lead or coordinate internal/external activities to ensure that all agreed upon certification requirements are met for established M&Ps.
- Represent the project team in technical internal reviews with Process Engineer for M&P, especially AM.
- Work for development and implementation of post process, Non Destructive Testing (NDT).
- Support design optimization project, system and component level qualification test, supplier evaluation and qualification.
- Work with lifing engineers and any other related department and functions to develop lifing methodd.
Hands-on work]
- Operate different types of material test equipment and potentially AM machines and post processing equipment.
- Implement and execute material testing and statistical data analysis.
- Identify necessary tasks to meet objectives of multiple project hierarchy.
- Plan and manage timeline of tasks to meet responsible project goal with participating in defining of engineering approaches and in planning/scheduling work.
- Ensure successful completion of the assigned project phase within the budgeted time and cost constraints.
- Participate and lead weekly meetings and effectively communicate with project leader and team members.
- Establish necessary environment with coordinating other departments and external organizations/suppliers.
- Periodically present project status or requests to senior and executive leadership.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of industrial experience or equivalent.
- Experience with involved in the project writing 14cfr 33.15, 23.260, 25.613 or 29.603.
- Experience with metallurgical processes, especially additive manufacturing and/or welding technologies.
- Experience with developing company or industrial m&p specifications.
- Experience with developing statistical test planning and statistical data analysis for static strength property following standards / guidance
- Experience with material database development for static strength property
- Experience leading projects of multiple departments and backgrounds.
- Experience with software related to additive manufacturing (3D modelling [CAD], STL slicing, Build layout & parameter setting etc.)
- Experience with developing statistical test planning and statistical data analysis for fatigue or creep properties following standards / guidance.
- Ability to interpret and develop specifications other than M&P, such as sourcing specifications, material test specifications, and quality manuals.
- Strong hands-on ability and critical thinking skills.
- Willingness to balance hands-on work (in the lab) and engineering work (at the desk).
- Ability to generate a strategy and think independently without input from supervisors.
- Organizational skills with strong attention to detail and quality.
- Oral and written communication skills in multicultural environment
- Strong computer proficiency (work with many different software programs/analysis)
- Strong multi-tasking skills are essential to work on many projects at once.
