The primary responsibility of the Material Analyst is to review documentation and process information assigned to specific background investigations, while meeting established guidelines. Material Analysts will support our Case Processing Operation Center Contract within our Defense & Intel Division. This is a position of trust, a role that requires integrity, confidentiality, commitment and pride in our country's security matters.
Key Role/Responsibilities:
- Conduct searches and review documents relating to background investigations to ensure information meets case requirements.
- Provide instruction and guidance to field investigators when additional information needs collected or scheduled to meet case requirements.
- Process case materials and complete department functions under established production, quality and timeliness standards.
- Able to adapt to changes in workload, case and contract guidelines to meet identified department goals.
- Conducts work in a professional manner and in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
- Reliability, dependability, and adherence to established schedules/shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members both written and verbal.
- Must have the ability to manage work assignments with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to interpret procedure manuals, correspondence and instructions.
- Basic computer/office literacy; computer proficiency and the ability to type 40 words per minute.
- US Citizenship and ability to pass a government sponsored background investigation
- Ability to work flexible schedule to include overtime hours.
- Work will be performed on-site in Iron Mountain, Boyers, PA or remote within local area. Remote option may be temporary, or by approval from manager and customer.
- Previous contract experience is preferred.
