Mastering Qc Operator

Video/Digital Quality Control

Adecco is looking for people with Mastering QC Operator skills who will be responsible for various projects for a media client in the Burbank, CA area!

Responsibilities:

·         Work with all team members to ensure that QC time is accurately estimated, communicated, executed and final deliveries are delivered on time per client specification.

·         Individuals will perform quality assurance testing on video, audio, closed captioning, and subtitle files.

·         Individual will perform spec compliance QC of the client-supplied materials (audio, video, subtitles, metadata, and graphics) for file production.

·         Individuals must efficiently utilize various audio and video production tools (software, decoders, tape decks, converters, pre-processing systems, etc.).

·         Individuals must utilize sound audible and visual judgment during the performance of daily duties.

·         Use of internal Spec Compliance wiki pages to verify compliance with client specifications and Bill of Materials (PO).

·         Completing evaluation form with full descriptions of content quality and version

·         Individuals must provide detailed descriptions using the internal QC database system.

·         Ensure work assignments, their status, and disposition are timely and accurately recorded in operations systems.

·         Engage in ongoing training programs as necessary.

·         Must effectively analyze and communicate information to resolve issues and concerns as they arise.

Requirements:

 

·         3-5 years of Quality Control experience in the entertainment industry.

·         Must have Mastering QC experience

·         Must possess an advanced understanding of audio, video, and film.

·         Ability to solve quality control issues, and software and player anomalies.

·         Must have strong organization skills, diligent and detail-oriented.

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills.

·         Require an accurate and methodical approach to testing as well as a very focused and detailed attention to audio, and video impairments.

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with hard deadlines.

·         Ability to work overtime including weekends.

 

Shifts Available:
Shifts are available from Tuesday – Saturday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. or Sunday – Thursday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.

Pay Details: $30.00 per hour
