Position Summary: The Master Technician position works at various locations. The position may also be required to travel to another state depending on customer demands. The position requires vast experience in engine diagnostics, rebuilds, and hydraulic systems.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for 70 - 100 pieces of equipment per region.
- Manage Deployment of Equipment across regions, cities, and states.
- Experience with heavy and over the road equipment.
- Work safely while performing repairs or maintenance on a job site in various weather conditions.
- Troubleshoot in various localities regarding equipment repair, maintenance, and deployment.
- Frequently work around energized high voltage systems requiring skill and care to protect the lives of themselves and others while performing job.
- Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order.
- Does all other related work as required to complete the job.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires 5 to 7 years of experience
- Able to perform rigorous physical labor.
- Must have or be able to obtain a class A CDL license within the 60 days of employment.
- Must have own general tools.
- Must be able to perform work in the following disciplines:
- Hydraulics
- Diesel/Gas Engines
- Steering Systems
- Drive Train
- HVAC
- Welding/Metal Fabrication
- Cam Brake and Air Disc Brakes
- Electrical Troubleshooting
- Electrical Systems
- Must know or be able to learn how to use computers for:
- Diagnostics
- Equipment Inventory Management
- Work Orders
- Telematics
- Certifications or Experiences in any of the following a plus:
- ASE Certifications
- Ford, Cummins, Paccar, Navistar, CAT, John Deere, Kubota, Detroit, Allison
- Altec/Telelect Aerial Devices
- Fluid Power Certification
- 2-year Diesel College Degree
- Understands equipment set up and grounding.
- Able to travel long distances on short notice, when required.
- Able to work for extended periods in various locations, when required.
- Able to lift more than 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work outside, frequently in inclement weather.
- Willing to work over-time when requested.

The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position will require some outside work that could expose an employee to inclement weather conditions.
