Key position functions include:
- Responsible for material handling of product from incoming receiving to work order picking.
- Pull all material required for work orders and place into proper locations per schedule priority and/or instruction.
- Unload, sort, inspect and put away incoming material as per receiving instructions.
- Ensure processes, lifting devices and forklift operations are performed in accordance with safety regulations and are carried out in a conscientious manner.
- Check to ensure material picked for work orders is correct.
- Ensure proper and timely flow of necessary paperwork.
- Ensure repair parts and labor is recorded appropriately.
- Expedite shipment of equipment.
Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Detail oriented, strong work ethic, and good interpersonal skills.
- Forklift experience is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Self motivated, good organizational skills, and able to work independently.
