Job Requirements for a Pest Control Technician

• Possess a valid driver’s license and meet company driving standards.
• At least 21 years of age
• Travel throughout the community (Bug Master service area) 67 – 100 % of the time to service customers
• Frequent utilization of company issued cell phone.
• Requires constant sitting for long periods of time. (when driving)
• Requires frequent walking. (34 – 66 %)
• Requires frequent standing, bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Requires frequent ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must possess the ability to climb heights using ladders.
• Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
• Requires the ability to operate a vehicle and other mechanical equipment.
• Daily work is performed in heated/air conditioned facilities and outdoors with exposure to all elements for extended periods of time.
• Work is performed using many variations of chemicals including but not limited to the following: Liquids, Baits, Aerosols, Dusts, Traps, and industry equipment.
• Display a positive demeanor and ability to interact with others in a pleasing, professional way.
• Possess the ability to communicate clearly and learn technical, industry related data pertaining to Pest Control and safety standards.
• Have a clean-cut image, sense of pride, integrity, attention to detail, and organizational ability.

Previous experience in a position working with his or her hands and performing laborious and strenuous work is preferred. Previous experience in a position requiring high quality work and promoting customer service is required. Ability to project friendly, warm, helpful, and professional demeanor required.

As a Pest Control Technician you will take your company vehicle home and start and end at your home.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
