Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented Master Scheduler

Sedron designs and manufactures advanced water, and waste upcycling technologies that transform the paradigm of Waste Processing to Resource Recovery. The Master Scheduler supports the Project Development team in consolidating company-wide schedules and budgets in support of the execution of large, multi-faceted projects. This position works closely with every department across the company to provide support to the Project Development Team by performing a variety of tasks, such as project schedule performance, critical path analysis, job cost tracking and project performance. The Master Scheduler will leverage their experience, knowledge and expertise to provide leadership to the project planners across the company to ensure Sedron has a solid planning practice and master schedule integrity. The Master Scheduler must be capable of developing individuals and company procedures to support the vision and demands of continuous improvement and growth.

We are looking for individuals who can meet the following essential functions of the position:

  • Lead efforts to understand company-wide resource needs and constraints across all projects.
  • Create and maintain program schedules using templates and calculators or based on SOW, drawings/proposals. Enter WBS/activity details, resource loading/budgeting and activity durations. Defines critical path for projects and scopes of work and monitors progress towards goals.
  • Leads and monitors a group of planners to ensure we have planning process integrity and good communication between Project Development, Design Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing and Operations.
  • Lead and participate in efforts to improve current planning tools, reports, and methods.
  • Organize and direct the effective coordination of material planning, purchasing and production scheduling to ensuring timely delivery of finished products.
  • Utilize current software for all critical scheduling responsibilities including resource assignment, level loading, critical resource analysis, budget performance, delivery risk, etc.
  • Manage and forecast costs, schedules, and resource needs on projects, using our internal systems.
  • Manage, monitor and communicate production schedule deliverables and risks to ensure we meet customer commitments; implement mitigation plans as needed.
  • Establish KPI’s, goals and actions to ensure the continuous improvement of the planning process; run reports and graphs as needed (ie. project schedule status reports for PM’s, final project status reports, etc.).
  • Meet with project managers, engineers, managers and production teams to provide updates on an ongoing basis.
  • Fields daily schedule and budget questions and concerns from program managers, production and operations; understands our business systems, procedures and processes and how they are integrated.
  • Manages and monitors the training of all project planners and other teams as needed.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work individually and within a multidisciplinary team, communicating and collaborating with technicians and engineers alike.
  • Prioritize duties and responsibilities in order to fulfill objectives.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or related field
  • Five or more years of project management experience within a technical or engineering field
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Microsoft Project experience required
  • Experience with NX or equivalent CAD software is desired
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software
  • Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Wage range for this role is between $100,000-$140,000/annually
  • Discretionary bonus
  • The range provided is Sedron’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.

Must be a US Citizen or legal permanent resident for this position. We are unable to sponsor any employment visas.
