The Pump Division, located in Chippewa Falls, WI is currently seeking a Master Scheduler to add to its growing team. This Job is located in Chippewa Falls, WI.
General Responsibility: Controls work in process effectively by planning the flow of materials and products to ensure customer satisfaction through on-time delivery and quality.
Specific Responsibilities and Authorities:
Coordinate workflow for Machine Shop and Assembly Plant Operations
Scheduling for both production and research and development activities.
Plan daily production orders, including new pump orders.
Monitor shortages and repair orders. Coordinate with production supervisors and Pump Division Plant Manager.
Work with area supervisors to ensure labor availability for planned production needs.
Provide a daily schedule or work order priority for labor allocation and workload for all areas of the production facility.
Develop work standards when appropriate or as assigned.
Create, update, or revise work instructions when appropriate or as assigned.
Oversee quality initiatives and quality assurance program adherence and adjustments when appropriate or as assigned.
Review overall product quality and initiate action plans for improvement when necessary or as assigned.
Receive input from customer facing and procurement entities and create plans that will ensure the organization meets customer demand while minimizing on-hand inventory.
Work independently and with the organization to effectively manage time and prioritize work responsibilities, assume, and manage multiple tasks without close supervision. Adapt to change, and consistently meet deadlines.
Communicate with external customer facing entities, internal customers, and Sales Team members when needed to provide production status updates.
Includes daily WO review for shop orders and customer orders entered (new)
Maintain compliance with labor agreement, company policies, safety standards and good housekeeping practices.
Ability to communicate throughout the organization to promote a positive, professional, engaged work environment.
Adherence to the ISO Quality System. Timely resolution of improvement opportunities, corrective actions, and monitor the effectiveness of actions.
KPIs include OTD, inventory valuation, lead time through production process, capacity utilization and other relevant measures.
Continuous education to stay up to date on new and emerging manufacturing processes.
Requirements
Degree in Business Management, Industrial Technology, or Equivalent Production Planning Experience
Experience using JD Edwards or another ERP system to plan production.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Access.
Broad knowledge base of production processes, including machining, assembly, and product validation.
Physical ability to work in production environment with frequent bending, standing stooping, walking, reaching, climbing, and lifting as required.
