Massage Therapist

Gangnam Spa is looking for a licensed, professional Massage Therapist. Candidates should have experience with various modalities and be comfortable with applying our signature service structure to their massages while modifying treatment based on each clients needs.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide 30 to 120-minute massage services, following spa-specific and general professional protocols
• Warmly greet clients, providing a welcoming atmosphere while confirming their services
• Discuss with clients any areas of concern or objectives, accommodating and adjusting technique as needed
• Engage with clients before, during, and after service, ensuring comfort and high standards for satisfaction and an overall excellent spa experience
• Suggest treatment plans and services, as appropriate
• Assist with other ad-hoc tasks, such as cleaning massage areas, preparing towels, restock/replace linens etc., in between sessions
• Maintain accurate personal log of services provided

Required Qualifications:

• Massage therapist certification and state licensure
• U.S. work authorization
• Prior massage experience
• A customer-first and top-tier service mindset
• Weekend availability
• Reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with shiatsu/acupressure, reflexology, assisted stretching, and hot stone services
• Prior spa and/or hotel experience

Work Schedule and Pay:

• Pay structure is strictly commission + tips
• Posted pay range is estimated monthly commission + tip earnings for working 48-60 hours per week
• 4-6 days per week, 6-10 hours per day
• Saturdays required
