JOB TITLE: Digital Content Manager
DEPARTMENT: Digital Services

REPORTS TO: Director, Digital Services
STATUS: Exempt
JOB CODE: 11290
PAY SCALE: $115,300.00 - $138,300.00 Annually

 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: 

 

Responsible for the effective tactical utilization of the existing Sitecore content management and marketing capabilities to enable sophisticated, data-driven activities across Golden 1's digital properties in close collaboration with Marketing and other relevant stakeholders, as well as the continuous evolution of these capabilities to better serve the needs of our members. Carries the creative and operational responsibility for the development and maintenance of Digital Content and content architecture across all digital channels. Serves as the liaison between the MarTech team and other lines of business across all projects involving the creation and management of Digital Content.  

 

TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS: 

  

  1. Serves as the resident Sitecore content management and marketing functionality subject matter expert. 
  2. Formulates strategy and implementation plans, as well as tactical approaches for capitalizing on technological investments already in place. 
  3. Conducts planning and execution of on page SEO, online/mobile instructional content creation for consumer and business systems, sophisticated digital marketing campaigns, other content management and knowledge management projects. 
  4. Participates in, and leads, when appropriate, the process of creation, architecture, and maintenance of website content.  
  5. Responsible for content management and knowledge management resources and processes, as well as workflows for the member-facing digital properties; participates in the same for portal sites across the organization, as needed. 
  6. Creates and manages the Digital Content style guide in close collaboration with Digital Services, Creative Services, and other relevant stakeholders. 
  7. Leads requirements gathering process for Digital Content projects. 
  8. Coordinates Digital Content projects across teams and departments. 
  9. Learns other digital marketing platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CheetahMail) to provide a similar level of support to the Marketing team, as needed and bandwidth allowing.  
  10. Keeps current with emerging technologies and best practices. 
  11. Oversees CMS training and support for lines of business, as needed. 
  12. Maintains a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws appropriate to the position. 
  13. Creates proper reporting and presents findings and recommendations to various audiences. 
  14. Continually keeps up to date with the latest changes in industry's standards and the relevant platform evolution. 
  15. Performs other duties as assigned. 

 

 

PHYSICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXERTION UTILIZED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE TASKS: 

  1. Effective oral and written communication skills required to varying levels of analytical daily tasks. 
  2. Must possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully operate standard office equipment such as a personal computer, VOIP telephone, printers, scanners, etc.  

 

ORGANIZATIONAL CONTACTS & RELATIONSHIPS: 

  1. INTERNAL:  All levels of staff. 
  1. EXTERNAL:  Vendors, management, other financial institutions, etc. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

  1. EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in management of information systems, marketing, communications and/or comparable experience. Master's degree in these disciplines is preferred. 

 

  1. EXPERIENCE: Five years of demonstrated effective Digital Content management using Sitecore CMS, including the Marketer Suite; digital instructional content creation, CMS management and implementation. Three years of Digital Content marketing, SEO, etc. 
     
  1. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:  
    • Strong knowledge of Sitecore CMS, Bootstrap, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, etc.; MS Office 365.   
    • Strong knowledge of major UX prototyping platforms, e.g. Sketch, Adobe XD, etc. 
    • Demonstrated experience of constructing and managing sophisticated digital marketing campaigns, e.g. behavioral targeting, in Sitecore. 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  1. Carry and respond to a cell phone 7 days a week. May need to diagnose problems from home, occasionally may need to travel to site to correct problem either by car or public conveyance. 
  1. Prolonged sitting throughout the workday with occasional mobility required. 
  1. Corrected vision within the normal range. 
  1. Hearing within normal range. A device to enhance hearing will be provided if needed. 
  1. Occasional movements throughout the department daily to interact with staff, accomplish tasks, etc. 
  1. Must comply with the credit union's work location policies of the day.
