Job Description:
The Senior Marketing Specialist provides general support to the Cox Business team relative to the implementation and execution of marketing programs and initiatives nationally. Focus of this role is on acquisition marketing to grow Cox Business revenue. The role is tasked with supporting all CB sales channels assigned to our SMB customer segments and collaborating with various boundary partners to achieve our goals.
What You'll Do
- Supports the day-to-day operation of the acquisition marketing efforts for all commercial products.
- Has oversight of lead management and fulfillment activities nationally.
- Assists in development and execution of marketing campaigns in support of SMB and mid-market channels.
- Measures and evaluates acquisition marketing program effectiveness and provides feedback and reporting to marketing team.
- Achieves marketing plan milestones with effective project management skills including program metrics, analysis and reporting to continually improve process.
- Cultivates positive working relationships with boundary partners and vendors in order to maximize funding support and promotional opportunities.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize automation and lead-nurturing process through email and other identified tactics.
- Assists in executing the quarterly media strategy and tactical placement of Cox Business marketing content across all media (Online/Digital, TV, Radio, Outdoor) in support of commercial acquisition and retention marketing programs.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.

Who You Are
Minimum
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, etc.) and 4 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years' experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation and organizational skills
- Requires applied critical thinking skills to solve problems
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects/programs at once
- Ability to work in a high performing, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines in an ever-changing industry and react to change in a positive manner
- Excellent motivational skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability work effectively with teams throughout organization
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Salesforce or other CRM platform
Preferred
- Degree in marketing, business, or advertising
- Strong ability to build campaign strategy, execute via multiple channels, and analyze data
- Budget management skills
- Marketing strategy, data analysis, tactical execution, digital and traditional marketing, and project management skills
- Experience in telecommunications industry desired
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $70,000.00 - $105,000.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
