Full-time position, Monday Friday 5:00 am 2:30 pm with overtime as needed, $24.00 - $31.00 based on experience.

AutoCAD Drafter/MicroVellum Cut Lister

Job Summary:

The client is an Architectural Millwork company. We are looking for a highly skilled woodworking CAD Drafter/MicroVellum cut-lister. The ideal candidate is familiar with AutoCAD, architectural woodworking, and commercial wood products.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Experience in reading architectural blueprints.

• Reviewing redlines and cut billing in MicroVellum software.

• Developing design ideas that align with the client's needs.

• Producing detailed woodworking designs

• Making any necessary corrections or changes

• Ensuring all work meets specific architectural standards.

• Staying current on design and architectural trends and advancements

• Familiarity with Architectural design and woodworking.

• Ability to problem solve.

• Knowledge of AWI quality standards is a plus.

• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

• Experience with MicroVellum is preferred.

• Proficient AutoCAD 2016 or higher

• Ability to work alone and with others to solve design issues.

• Architectural woodworking/manufacturing experience is preferred.

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Analyze unique job requirements and change the standard design as needed.

Education and Experience:

• Requires a minimum of two years experience in Auto Cad 2016

• Certification in AutoCAD.

• Two years of designing in the woodworking industry

Requirements:

• Great attitude, dependable, and demonstrate an excellent work ethic.

• Self-starter that can take direction.

• Sedentary physical activity of an administrative nature

• Sitting, standing, bending, and moving

• Occasionally lifting to 25 pounds
