Job Summary:
The Marketing Specialist of Website and Graphic design assists in the development and expansion of our corporate website, executes marketing strategies to enhance brand presence, engage our target audience, and drive business growth, and works with cross-functional teams to develop online and offline marketing materials. This is a 6-month contract position with the opportunity to extend or transition to full-time hire.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Website Management:
- Maintain and update our company website to ensure it remains current, user-friendly, and aligned with the latest design trends.
- Collaborate with web developers and IT teams to address technical issues and implement new features as needed.
- Optimize the website for search engines (SEO) to improve organic visibility and user experience.
- Graphic Design:
- Create visually compelling marketing materials, including brochures, infographics, banners, event display materials, and social media graphics.
- Design engaging email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop multimedia content, such as videos and animations.
- Content Development:
- Work closely with content creators to ensure that website content and marketing collateral align with the brand's visual identity and messaging.
- Help develop and edit marketing content for both online and offline channels.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor website traffic and engagement using analytical tools.
- Provide insights on user behavior and trends to make data-driven decisions for website improvements.
- Track the performance of marketing materials and campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Brand Consistency:
- Ensure that all marketing materials, both digital and print, adhere to the brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop and maintain a strong and consistent visual brand identity.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Website CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Wix, others) and website technology development.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and strategies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Creative thinking and an eye for design aesthetics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills to track and report on marketing performance.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 3-5 years’ experience in website management, including content updates and SEO optimization.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Availability to travel up to 10%.
