(“Arc3”) is a growing, multi-generation family-owned and operated manufacturer and distributor of industrial, medical, food and beverage, and specialty gases and welding supplies, with over 50 locations in Virginia, the Carolinas, Georgia and Maryland. Arc3’s CO2 division supplies CO2 and nitrogen gases and generation systems to customers from Delaware to Florida.

JOB SUMMARY

The role of Marketing Specialist and Content Creator at Arc3 Gases is a pivotal one within the marketing team. This position will be responsible for supporting the Director of Marketing in the development and execution of general marketing programs with an emphasis on generating compelling and inspirational content across various media platforms. This position requires experience in managing and executing marketing programs, excellent writing and communication skills, and a high level of creativity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Director of Marketing in the development and execution of general marketing programs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to develop, manage, and implement various marketing programs.
• Identify, create, manage, and deliver marketing content across all channels including social media, Arc3 Gases’ website, marketing materials and other field and corporate applications.
• Articulate compelling messages conveying the company's values, positive culture, and initiatives.
• Safeguard and enhance the company's brand through consistent messaging and visual identity.
• Create interest and awareness among target audiences and stakeholder groups, driving traffic to engage with Arc3 content.
• Generate creative ideas and explore innovative approaches to digital content delivery while staying up to date on the latest marketing trends.
• Create graphics and edit photos, collaborating with the internal sales team as needed.
• Assist in the monthly development of the company newsletter.
• Assist in the planning and execution of company events.
• Maintain online advertisements including Google My Business, Google Ad campaigns, and website Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to ensure optimal placement on various search platforms.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of digital channels and activities using tools like Google Analytics, providing feedback to stakeholders, and using data to inform future activities.
• Manage the company’s SharePoint page and train internal teams, empowering them to manage their department specific pages.
• Act responsibly with the data accessible as part of the role, following company guidelines and policies and reporting concerns or breaches.
• Attend relevant company events, committee meetings, and functions requiring occasional travel and overnight stays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE

• A two or 4-year degree is required preferably in marketing and/or communications; or 3-5 years experience in digital content creation.
• Extensive knowledge of marketing principles and strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to plan and implement marketing campaigns.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Adobe Suite, Hubspot, Wordpress, and G4.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Experience working with industrial gases and/or welding supplies is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 30 pounds at a time.

WORK LOCATION

• Primary office is remote / home.
• Occasional on-site work when collaboration is required.
