SUMMARY OF POSITION

Kinsley Construction is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our in-house marketing team. This position will provide support to the corporate marketing department, working on a wide variety of projects and initiatives.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Content Development
  • Writing content for press releases, social media, newsletters, e-news, website, proposals, printed collateral and more, as assigned
  • Visit jobsites for in-progress photography and story collection.
• Social Media / Web Support
  • Schedule posts and monitor channels daily.
  • Maintain multiple content calendars.
  • Support and serve as a back-up for email campaign management.
  • Support the webmaster by updating content and monitoring SEO and analytics.
• Design
  • Creating simple design pieces, posters, social graphics, etc. using a design platform, while maintaining brand standards.
• Events
  • Support corporate events by researching venues, creating event signage, tracking RSVPs, compiling nametags. Provide on-site event support.
  • Provide support for project-specific client events (groundbreaking/ribbon cutting ceremonies, etc.)
• Administrative
  • Updating templates, creating agendas, filing meeting minutes, etc.
  • Doing pickups and deliveries for signage, banners, promo items
  • Ordering and stocking corporate promo items, banners / pulling items for career fairs or trade shows.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field
• High level of proficiency working with leading social media platforms
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Strong creative and critical thinking skills.
• A passion for storytelling, creativity, and staying current with the evolving social media landscape.
• A working knowledge of AP style and the ability to write within brand guidelines.
• Must be ambitious self-starter and team player who is driven to meet deadlines and is self-motivated.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well with other marketing team members and independently.
• Reliable in-person attendance is required.
