POSITION DESCRIPTION/
This full-time position as a Marketing Specialist will leverage knowledge of digital marketing to generate leads and be responsible for creating a variety of timely, well written content to aid in the Company's marketing campaigns, working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Plan, execute, and optimize web, SEO, database marketing, email, and social media marketing campaigns.
- Conduct keyword research, monitor website traffic, and optimize content for search engines.
- Utilize analytics tools to track campaign performance, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Manage and grow the company's email database, including segmentation, targeting, and scheduling of email campaigns.
- Create timely and engaging content for social media platforms, monitor social media channels, and interact with followers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and sales, to ensure alignment and consistency across marketing initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital marketing.
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE/
Required:
- Associate's degree/certification in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on web, email, and social media marketing.
- Possess the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Hubspot, Mailchimp, Constant Contact) and CRM systems (Hubspot, Zoho).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for digital channels.
- Analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) to track and measure campaign performance.
- Creative thinker with a strategic approach to problem-solving and campaign optimization.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Preferred:
- Experience with the Department of Defense (DoD) Industry.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz).
