Position Overview
The Marketing Portfolio Partnerships Senior Manager will be instrumental in communicating our 'above brand' portfolio message to health system/organized customer leaders. This position will manage, support, and lead innovative marketing strategies with our external partners including the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), American Medical Group Association (AMGA), Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), EPIC and associated agency partners. The relationships built with these key partners will help influence and impact our health systems business due to the access we receive to key leaders within our targeted health systems. This role will be responsible for the project management activities associated with each partner and will develop messaging, collaterals, resources, and content as well as source KOL's for high-profile webinars and speaking engagements.
Essential Duties
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Act as subject matter expert in the health system market (customers, business model priorities, capabilities, etc.).
  • Identify and understand the impact of influencer entities/partners on the health system leader and HIT customer segments.
  • Source, develop relationships with, develop a strategy for and execute tactics with external influencers and entities that impact the health system landscape.
  • Collaborate across multiple internal and external teams to sponsor/serve as a change agent internally around health systems and the Exact Sciences portfolio. Effective collaboration will also be important to ensure development and execution of customer needs and resources.
  • Coordinate the work of multiple external vendors and internal departments including agency partners, marketing, market research, legal, regulatory, medical affairs, corporate compliance and the relevant field teams.
  • Develop and execute plans for engaging with influencing entities customers.
  • Translate market trends into relevant market, think outside-the-box, and create disruptive solutions which enable us to meet our mission of early cancer detection.
  • Bring internal and external stakeholders together to co-create solutions to advance our mission of early cancer detection.
  • Translate knowledge including payment reform topics, care redesign, the move towards value-based care, HIT, population health management and other trends impacting the healthcare environment) into strategy and solutions development that could enhance the relationship with our collaborations.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership to champion initiatives, gain alignment, and report back on measurement plans including effectiveness, efficiency, and market research.
  • Drive multiple projects from ideation through to execution and business impact assessment.
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
  • Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
  • Ability to work seated for approximately 50% of a typical working day. Ability to work standing for approximately 10% of a typical working day (note that office positions can accommodate sitting and standing needs, so this may not be relevant).
  • Ability to work in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 70% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to travel approximately 40% of working time.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare field, marketing, business administration or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in health information technology, marketing, or commercial field.
  • Basic computer skills to include Internet navigation, Email usage, and word processing. Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in healthcare field, HIT field, business administration or related field.
  • Experience working with health systems and health systems leaders.
  • Experience working with healthcare influencers such as societies and trade associations.

Salary Range:
$125,000.00 - $201,000.00
The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms, conditions, and eligibility requirements of the applicable plans.
