Marketing & Ecommerce Manager
This is a dream job for the right, creative candidate! Urbanspace operates the holiday
and other outdoor markets in New York City and is seeking a strong manager to
oversee marketing including content creation, site graphics, social & ecommerce
channels, and customer communication. The ideal candidate will have two to three
years of experience in marketing and ecommerce. This person must be adept with
software tools and have excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
for working with a team and delivering projects on time and on budget.
Responsibilities
- Act as outward facing communications manager for the Company, executing the marketing plan from concept to completion
- Bring the brand to life by spearheading content creation including:
- Curate and edit simple video, photo & copy of our small business partners
- Assist vendors updating company sponsored ecommerce pages
- Manage social channels and reposting
- Design and execute company deliverables (signage/web content/directories/etc.) based on brand standards
- Manage and maintain ecommerce/website
- Oversee the market decorations plan including fresh holiday placemaking ideas
- During market periods, manage an events calendar & coordinate programming
- Monitor and manage customer feedback
- Conduct analytics reporting and interpret data for changing tactics
- Point person for Activation sponsors
- Manage 3rd party consultants as needed including PR and web developers
- **Special projects: manage outside web team & partners in creation of an exciting ecommerce marketplace designed to support local businesses
Required skills and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, marketing, or related field
- Two to three years of experience in marketing
- Strong project management, multitasking, & decision-making skills & self-starter
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Shopify a plus
- Full-time with flexible office hours located near Union Square in Manhattan
