The Marketing Manager will work directly withthe Dean and School's leadership team to plan and implement communication and marketingcampaigns, develop strategic marketing goals and initiatives as well as designand edit promotional materials through various written and social mediaplatforms.
The School of Architecture and Planning isseeking a dynamic and professional individual who demonstrates strength in writingand content creation, including knowledge of related skills such as graphic design, videography, socialmedia and website content. The successful candidate will demonstrate anenergetic and creative approach to communication strategies in marketing andpublic relations, a collaborative team spirit, and have a keen interest in thedesign disciplines and professions of Architecture, planning and landscape architecture.
The School of Architecture and Planning ishoused in George Pearl Hall on UNM's main campus. This unique facility was designed byinternationally renowned architect Antoine Predock. The School offers the onlyprofessional accredited graduate degree programs in architecture, landscape architecture,and community and regional planning in the state of New Mexico. The School alsooffers graduate certificates in Historic Preservation & Regionalism andUrban Innovation. In addition, the School boasts the Indigenous Design andPlanning Institute, the only institute in the United States focused on NativeAmerican and indigenous design and planning issues and concepts.

Bachelor's degree; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience.
Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications:1. Undergraduate or graduate degree in marketing, communication or related field
2. Experience writing print copy for websites, emails, brochures, newsletters, press release and/or promotional materials
3. Ability to coordinate text and design graphics for web site, brochures, flyers, ads, announcements and invitations
4. Knowledge of marketing concepts and ability to develop strategies focused on marketing goals and objectives as well as ability to develop marketing, communication and recruitment strategies and launch campaigns
5. Experience managing social media platforms
6. Experience developing and implementing communication and marketing calendar and timeline
7. Advanced knowledge of current and emerging trends in marketing and communication
