In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of integrated marketing strategies to support key programs and initiatives. This position is located in the WPB Marketing team and reports to the Head of Marketing Strategy and Initiatives.
As our Marketing Manager, Marketing Strategy & Initiatives you will:
- Understand the key business, client and product objectives within WPB. Act as a key point of contact within Marketing for stakeholders to engage for support on business goals and objectives
- Develop and manage measurable, marketing strategies and programs to support the key business objectives with WPB
- Brief marketing teams on initiatives and determine what support is needed. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the Customer Segment,
- Distribution, Sales Administration, Compliance and Internal Comms teams to implement plans
- Lead regular, cross-functional working groups to ensure launch dates are met and key deliverables occur on-time
- Work with the Finance, Performance Effectiveness and Analytics teams to develop business cases, targets, offers/incentives, and profitability forecasts. Develop reporting that measures the impact and performance of key initiatives and provide regular performance updates
- Monitor competitive position within applicable client segments and overall industry through ongoing market research, industry studies, and feedback from other business units
- Develop and manage budgets, while ensuring cost control of marketing programs
For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $78,000.00 and $118,000.00
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
- 5+ years Marketing experience with proven record of developing and managing campaigns and marketing programs. Experience in the financial services industry preferred
- Results-oriented with sound analytical and thinking skills, outstanding communication and organizational skills
- Previous responsibilities for budget coordination preferred
- Prior experience managing the development of projects from beginning to end – understanding stakeholder requests, building project plans / work back schedules, engaging cross-functional teams to meet launch timelines and evaluating effectiveness of programs implemented
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively influence and communicate across various business lines, units and at senior levels within the organization
