Self Esteem Brands, LLC, the parent company of Anytime Fitness, LLC, Waxing The City, LLC, Basecamp Fitness, LLC, The Bar Method, LLC, and Stronger U, is currently seeking a Manager, Local Marketing, to support our Basecamp Fitness franchise brand. The ideal candidate is driven, solution-oriented, and resourceful with a proven track record of developing Local Marketing and media strategies that drive measurable business results. As the heartbeat of our Local Marketing endeavors, you support a dynamic franchise network, crafting and executing Local Marketing strategies that fuel Basecamp Fitness franchisee growth.
Summary
Envision a role where you're not just managing marketing plans, but you're guiding, coaching, and inspiring small business owners on best practices to help them grow their businesses. As the Manager, Local Marketing, you will drive the strategy and development of Local Marketing plans, toolkits, paid media efforts and CRM. You are a key member of our agile team. You have a 'get things done' mentality and are comfortable operating at various levels, from strategizing to hands-on support for Local Marketing initiatives. Your impact is instrumental in the rapid growth of Basecamp Fitness across existing and new, domestic markets. The Manager, Local Marketing will report to the Director, Growth Marketing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy lead generation toolkits to generate new leads, members, and referrals for franchise owners.
  • Liaise between studio franchisees and corporate marketing to enhance tools for lead generation and local brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with creative/agency teams to craft communication materials and templates for Local Marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure accountability among franchisees, studio managers and fitness managers in developing, executing, and budgeting for Local Marketing plans (in partnership with Basecamp's Operations and Franchisee Support teams).
  • Evaluate franchisees' marketing strategies, identify effective campaigns, and share successful strategies across all franchisees.
  • Assist franchisees in integrating marketing insights into operations, covering areas like local CRM, social media, events, partnerships, and consumer engagement.
  • Support the local execution of corporate marketing campaigns.
  • Build effective partnerships with local and regional franchise owners, marketing leaders, and agencies.

Strengths and Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing (or related experience).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Local Marketing, brand marketing, or advertising. Advertising agency experience or franchise business experience preferred.
  • Track record for developing, planning, and executing successful Local Marketing programs to achieve sales and marketing objectives.
  • Experience managing events and campaigns for brick-and-mortar business openings.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead, motivate, hold accountable and positively influence franchise partners to achieve targeted Local Marketing goals.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Project Management leadership, with demonstrated ability to lead implementation of complex, long term projects and programs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, learn new concepts and understand the impact of changing technology on workflow processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with senior management, franchisees, and associates at all levels.
  • Sound analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Occasional domestic travel will be required.
