Position Summary: The Marketing Manager for The Shipping Store will be the effective “right hand” of the Director of Marketing. They will be responsible for overseeing the moving parts for several marketing initiatives and projects. The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is self-motivated, and is driven by results. They will have experience in project management. They will be detail-oriented and have strong written and verbal communication skills. They must have a working knowledge of the digital marketplace as a whole, and it is especially preferred if they have experience with Amazon Seller Central. They would have a background in marketing, project management, or a Marketing Manager. They will be able to develop strategies that benefit the entire team. The ideal candidate will have led a team of 3-5 previously and have demonstrated strong management skills.. 

Reports To: Director of Marketing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000-$90,000 DOE

Location: Las Vegas, NV 89120

Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work with marketing department to implement digital advertising strategies to increase brand awareness and web traffic

• Directly assist the Director of Marketing with driving marketing initiatives

• Oversee new product launches and report results back to the Director of Marketing

• Oversee Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for the brand

• Oversee new product launches 

• Utilize A/B testing and demonstrates action taken on insight 

• Oversee, analyze, and implement action on all web analytics

• Oversee project progress for content development, distribution, and management

• Directly responsible for organizing team members to stay on deadlines

• Oversee social media accounts

REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must have 2+ years experience in management, project management, or coordinator

• Must have 2+ years in a professional role responsible for SEO or a digital marketplace

• Must have experience overseeing an eCommerce marketing department or equivalent

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field 

• Web analytics: Google Analytics, WebTrends, Google Adwords, Amazon Seller Central, etc.

• Ability to strategically plan, execute said plan, and analyze results 

• Online content marketing 

• Social media marketing and/or management experience 

• Project Management

• Strong attention to detail & problem solving skills

• Proven track record of driving sales & traffic efficiently 

Preferred Skills:

• Amazon Seller Central experience strongly preferred 

• Proven track record of driving sales through Amazon 

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Regularly operates office equipment, such as laptops, printers, and calculators

• Lifts objects of five to twenty pounds regularly 

• May have to sit for prolonged periods, but will often be on their feet for long periods of time

• May spend extended hours outdoors/without A/C due to shipping/receiving doors 

• May spend extended hours in front of a computer screen

• Frequently required to communicate with others to exchange information

• Air-conditioned office, productive atmosphere, and semi-open floor plan
