Marketing Manager

SanTan Brewing Company is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team in Chandler, AZ.

SanTan Brewing was founded in 2007 in Historic Downtown Chandler, AZ and has grown to become the largest independent craft brewery in the state. In 2015, SanTan Spirits was born when we decided to take our experience as brewers and evolve our ales and lagers into award winning spirits. Our mission is simple: Uncommon Quality for Everyday Occasions. This mission carries into the diversified components of the company including Brewpubs in Chandler and Sky Harbor Terminal 3, Catering + Food Trucks, educational spaces for spirits, Spirit House craft cocktails and kitchen, and of course the sales and distribution of our handmade craft products.

SanTan is a growing and dynamic company. We are seeking a talented Marketing Manager who can grow and optimize SanTan’s reach and drive brand loyalty through storytelling. Ideal candidates are outgoing team player with a passion for creating fun, engaging experiences for our audience. Some work experience in the adult beverage industry is preferred and a love and appreciation for exceptional beer & spirits is a plus.

This position reports to the SanTan Ownership and will own SanTan’s brand presence across all channels. Qualified candidates are excited to experiment with new channels, formats and content while also setting specific KPIs and measure performance against them. Reports to: Ownership

Location: Downtown Chandler, AZ, SanTan Admin Office and company locations as needed

Compensation: Competitive with industry standards, depending on experience

Experience & Education Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of marketing management experience

• Adult beverage or restaurant experience preferred.

• Higher education in marketing or a related field preferred

• Extensive knowledge of digital marketing networks with an eye on upcoming platforms

• Working knowledge of adult (21+) beverage industry

• Ability to work varied days and hours throughout the week dependent upon event schedules

Job Responsibilities & Tasks:

Distribution

o Work with Sales Team on maximizing and staying within the sales budget.

o Creating brand strategies to further awareness and grow sales in on and off-premise.

o Tailoring offers and executing marketing strategies to grow sales in on-premise as well as the multiple audiences and revenue streams that exist elsewhere (catering, tours, etc)

Digital + Media

o Execution of content creation for all marketing needs.

o Manage graphics for engaging social experiences using our suite of products

o Create widgets, landing pages, and modules to optimize sharing and social engagement

o Assist with marketing materials such as web design, infographics, and email newsletters

o Conceptualize and create impressive PowerPoint presentations

o Creative design of marketing materials designed to build SanTan Brewing Co. brand

o Maintains quality assurance for packaging, labels and all graphic materials

o Oversee the creation of overall marketing strategies and campaigns

o Organization and creation of advertising, promotional materials, web materials, merchandise, point-of-sale materials, and other graphic content

o Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts

o Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval

o Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Social Media

o Oversee Social Media campaigns

o Promotion across multiple platforms (Google, FB, EB and more) for ongoing events.

o Responsible for SanTan Newsletters

o Maintain and update all social platforms

o Manage the monitoring of all internet guest complaints and inquiries. Will work with brewers and restaurant staff to get all info needed for reply.

Website

o Website maintenance and updating along with audits and updating.

Marketing Coordinator

o WIP facilitation (sending out requests for agenda changes, taking notes, sending a recap email to department heads)

o Create Monthly company newsletter that goes out to ALL SanTan staff informing staff of all things coming up in the company. Works directly with Pub Brewers, Warner Brewer, Restaurant Manager, and all State Sales Managers to get info.

o Plan, design, set up + coordinate company events (both on and off site). Work directly with State Manager + Catering Team so they have all info needed to execute. Day of execution will be done by the State Sales MGR and/ or Catering Team.

o Responsible for day of photos and social media coverage of events.

Management

o Manage all staff in the marketing department.

Skills & Software:

• Copywriting

• Photography - shooting and processing

• Videography - shooting and editing

• Native or third-party social media scheduling software (Facebook Business Suite, Hootsuite, Later)

• Photographic styling for products, environments, portraits etc.

• Expertise in paid digital advertising

• Experience with email marketing software (MailChimp, Toast)

• G Suite/Microsoft Office
