We are seeking a Marketing Managerwho displays strong characteristics of AIP Publishing's cultural principles: Progressive; Researcher-Focused; Experimental; Equitable; Authentic; Action-Oriented; and Collaborative toplay a pivotal role in helping to make AIP Publishing the first-choice publisher for the next generation of authors and readers in the physical sciences in new and emerging markets.
The Marketing Manager, reporting to the Sr. Manager, willplan and execute marketing campaigns for a portfolio of AIP Publishing and/or Member Society journals, as part of the overall AIPP global marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with AIP Publishing's goals and values
- Maintain and enhance our brand identify
- Lead the strategic direction for integrated marketing campaigns
- Create engaging multimedia content
- Develop and execute marketing launch plans for new products and journals
- Identify and monitor key performance indicators for the journal portfolio and develop campaigns to positively impact these key performance indicators
- Communicate goals, initiatives, and results of marketing campaigns internally
- Attend conferences and organize editor/researcher events to promote AIPP and Member Society journals and products
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related function required
- 4-6 years' experience as a Marketing Manager, preferably in an STM publishing environment
- Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work with large datasets
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Brand storytelling: proven track record of devising results-driven brand strategies and crafting inventive campaigns to support brand and product goals
- Strong attention to detail and ability to plan and follow through with stakeholders to ensure satisfaction
- Excellent written communication skills, with experience writing and editing campaign copy to effectively communicate brand and product messaging for various marketing channels

$75,000 - $90,000
Salary within the above posted range is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience.
To be considered candidates must reside within NY, NJ, CT, MD, VA, PA, MA, RI or Washington, DC. This is a remote first plus convening opportunity.
