Position Overview:

This intermediate-level position will be responsible for project management within the department with a focus on growing the company’s online presence through social media and email campaigns. A company laptop, credit card, and cell phone will be provided. Travel may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage external marketing communications including e-blasts, social media campaigns and press releases using an editorial calendar
• Encourage greater social media participation, report monthly social media and email campaigns
• Track and report competitor activity on social platforms
• Work with PPC specialists to optimize searches through paid campaigns.
• Manage branding throughout all marketing materials. Assist in the development, design, and production of promotional materials and literature.
• Assist in the production of content marketing, video marketing, print advertising, tradeshows, company events, and the procurement of all marketing materials.
• Manage third-party agency to optimize SEO efforts and ensure web leads (both web forms and inbound phone calls) are working properly.
• Assist in marketing material procurement such as clothing, stickers, and giveaways, stationary
• Manage marketing vendors
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Skill Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field
• 5+ years’ experience in marketing, communications or public relations
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to initiate and monitor several simultaneous projects
• Creative thinker, detail-oriented and organized
• Experienced in SEO practices and techniques
• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google My Business.
