Marketing Manager

King Orchards, a multi-faceted family farm business, is seeking a Marketing Manager to develop strategic marketing plans and then oversee the execution those plans. We are looking for a proactive, creative, self-starter that is ready to jump in and play a key role in marketing and business strategies to take our brand to the next level. The job includes, but is not limited to, brand management, design, social media management, digital advertising, merchandise & packaging development, and event planning. The ideal candidate is someone that has a diversified toolbox of skills, is experienced with current marketing tactics and platforms, and has a passion for small business brand development.

Responsibilities:

• Help develop and execute a comprehensive marketing program
• Manage digital and traditional advertising efforts
• Product development and packaging design decision making
• Manage social media and website content
• Merchandise design
• Help to plan and execute farm events and promotions

Applicable Knowledge and Skills:

• Self-starter, someone that is adaptable and can work independently and learn new skills and marketing concepts that will benefit the brand for future success
• Tactical experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube) as marketing tools for businesses
• Managing digital advertising campaigns
• Graphic design experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; copyediting abilities
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Interest in product development and packaging
• Knowledgeable of social media, social networking, email marketing, search engines, and current digital platforms and using them for business marketing
• Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that align with the King Orchards brand
• Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities, someone who is a collaborative team player
• Ability to research & interpret information to make informed decisions
• Digital photography and video editing experience a plus
• Website design and programming experience a plus

Work Hours & Benefits:

• Full time or Part time: we are open to different situations depending on the candidate
• Normal work week with occasional weekends for events

Pay: $38,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
