Job Description
Formerra is looking for a savvy Social MediaMarketing Intern to contribute to our marketing initiatives. This role involves engaging in a range of responsibilities with a special focus on Social Media content creation and execution, digital asset management, as well as marketing communication activities.
This is a paid full-time position. Anticipated duration will be from June through August 2024 (flexible).
To succeed at Formerra this individual must possess the following skills and experience:
- Sophomore status or higher in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Minimum 3.0 overall GPA
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with business use of Social Media platforms (YouTube, LinkedIn)
- Strong writing skills for short-form and long-form content creation
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple assignments and projects.
- Creative mindset with an eye for visual design and aesthetics
- Team-oriented with excellent collaboration skills
- Ability to receive feedback from others and apply it to the work.
- Experience with Canva preferred.
You are responsible for:
- Assisting in the creation and execution of Social Media content across various platforms, including LinkedIn and YouTube
- Monitoring and engaging with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
- Conducting research on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging platforms to contribute fresh ideas for Social Media campaigns.
- Assisting in the development of a Social Media content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to align Social Media efforts with overall marketing strategies.
- Analyzing Social Media metrics to assess the performance of campaigns and provide insights for improvement.
- Integrated planning and development process; assist in managing and driving deliverables with internal teams and agency partners.
- Participating in strategic and creative design of marketing communications activities.
- Writing and editing copy for range of materials and channels.
- Support Marcom Manager in the organization and execution of the company’s SharePoint
