Graphic Design Summer Intern

The Role

The Summer Intern Program is a unique opportunity to make professional connections and get on the job experience.  

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Graphic Design Intern to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to gain hands-on experience in Graphic Design within a collaborative and supportive environment. The Graphic Design Intern will work closely with our creative team to assist in the development of visual assets for various projects, including print and digital media.

Duration: June 10, 2024 - August 16, 2024

Location: 100% remote

Hours: 40 per week

Rate of Pay: $18.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop concepts for visual communication projects.
• Assist in the design and production of marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, posters, and digital advertisements.
• Support the creation of digital assets, including social media graphics, website elements, and email newsletters.
• Assist in the editing and retouching of photos and images for various projects.
• Ensure consistency in branding and design elements across all materials and platforms.
• Research design trends and techniques to contribute fresh ideas and perspectives to the team.
  
• Provide proactive support, advice, consultation, and solutions to teams and business leaders on all project-related topics, that will aim to align with the organization's overall goals.
• Support projects across the organization.
• Participate in weekly development sessions and share learnings with your peers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Applicants must be pursuing an associate, bachelor, or master degree
• Expected graduation date must be on or after June 10th
