Haymarket Media, Inc. is seeking an organized, creative, and detail-oriented individual to join a growing, team-oriented company as a Marketing Intern in its Marketing Department. This position is located in our New York, NY office.
Job Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Marketing within Haymarket Media's Marketing team, this position will be responsible for assisting with day to day marketing tasks including email campaigns, social media, and reporting across Haymarket Media's network of business sites.
Responsibilities:
- Support marketing team by creating and executing marketing campaigns
- Update reporting on digital media and web analytics performance
- Create new social media campaigns
- Regularly monitor sales reports to assess campaign performance
- Research & analyze B2B subscription competitors, identifying their marketing strategies, content offerings, and audience engagement tactics
- Develop timelines for creation and deployment of sales marketing materials
- Assist with market research surveys, interviews, and data analysis to understand target audience needs, preferences, and pain points
- Track and analyze audience engagement metrics to measure campaign effectiveness
- Brainstorm new and creative marketing initiatives to reach an expanded target audience
Assist with developing creative marketing collateral, such as infographics, presentations, or video scripts
Skills and Requirements:
- Knowledge of social media and scheduling platforms
- Experience with Canva or other design tools a plus
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Highly organized with an ability to multitask
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
What We Offer:
Location: NYC office (two days on-site Tuesdays and Wednesdays & 3 days remote)
Salary: $16/hr
Start Date/ Duration: June 10 - August 9, 2024
Schedule: 32 hours a week; Hybrid; Summer Fridays
