School of Rock is the original performance-based, interactive music school founded in 1998 in Philadelphia. With 300+ schools, and a strong internationally recognized brand, School of Rock is the largest after-school music education provider. Our mission is to help kids rock their worlds.
As a Marketing Intern at the School of Rock Lemont, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and creative environment. You will work closely with our management and marketing team to develop and execute strategies to promote our music programs, events, and services.
Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging content for our website, social media platforms, email newsletters, and promotional materials. This may include writing blog posts, designing graphics, and editing videos.
- Social Media Management: Help manage our social media accounts by scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and analyzing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Event Promotion: Support the marketing team in promoting upcoming events, workshops, and concerts. This may involve creating event pages, distributing flyers, and reaching out to potential attendees.
- Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and audience preferences to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Email Marketing: Assist in creating and sending email campaigns to our subscriber list, including newsletters, announcements, and special offers.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze key performance metrics across various marketing channels, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Passion for music and a desire to contribute to the growth of our music school.
