Marketing Intern

The Marketing Intern has the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global, multi-faceted, collaborative environment. Through this experience, you will work closely with our various marketing teams to support initiatives across multiple channels and contribute to the overall success of our marketing initiatives.

You will primarily focus on supporting teams that match the areas of your specific interest while also having the opportunity to collaborate with all teams in the marketing department. You will have some assignments outside your areas of interest so that you gain a robust understanding of the entire marketing engine. This position will be based in our Corporate Headquarters in Westlake, TX (1500 Solana Blvd, Suite 6500, Westlake, TX, 76262) or remotely.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, including social media, email marketing, and print materials.
• Create and publish engaging content for social media platforms, blogs, and other marketing assets to increase brand awareness and drive engagement.
• Aid in the planning and execution of events, promotions, and other marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate marketing efforts and ensure brand consistency across all channels.
• Assist with such tasks as organizing marketing materials, maintaining databases, collecting/analyzing data, and preparing reports.
• Participate in collaborative brainstorming and training sessions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content tailored to different audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for marketing and a willingness to learn.
• Previous experience in marketing, either through coursework, internships, or extracurricular activities, is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
