SUMMARY
We are seeking a Marketing Intern to join our team for Winter Term/Semester (January-April)!
The Marketing Intern is responsible for providing general support for the marketing department through a variety of channels, including web, digital, print, and other as assigned. Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working closely with team members, the Marketing Intern will execute general marketing activities as assigned, including writing blog and email content, designing graphics for social media and collateral, producing reports, updating webpages utilizing Elementor and WordPress, scheduling social media posts using Hubspot, and related activities.

Essential Functions of the position include, but are not limited to;
- Work closely with Marketing Manager and other team members to execute activities that support overall marketing strategy and business goals.
- Assist in designing, managing, and creating new webpages and updating existing webpages to meet current standards.
- Write and edit compelling blog posts and other web content using basic SEO standards to attract prospective customers.
- Provide input on email campaigns and assist in designing targeted emails to funnel traffic to website and generate leads.
- Participate in the planning of the Social Media strategy and execute as directed – with a focus on designing graphics that help achieve lead generation goals.
- Utilizing Adobe Suite, design graphics and edit product photos when necessary.
- Leverage third-party tools to build targeted contact lists for email campaigns.
- Track and measure success of marketing initiatives by using reporting and analytics as needed.
- Regular work site attendance.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Effectively use computer and applicable computer software. Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook required. Individual must be PC literate and have the aptitude to learn operation of other computer systems.
- Knowledge of WordPress and Elementor for WordPress a plus
- Experience with Photoshop, Indesign, and/or Adobe Creative Suite skills a plus
- Experience in using Hubspot or equivalent a plus
- Excellent team player, problem solver with a high level of self-motivation and initiative
- Able to meet deadlines on a consistent basis
- Demonstrated experience in producing digital marketing content
- Quality oriented with the ability to perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision
- Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers
- Work effectively as a team contributor on many assignments
- Ability to work independently (and with limited supervision) while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and departments at all levels within the organization
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze detail and perform structured decision-making on a daily basis.
- Must be capable of managing multiple priorities effectively and be able to identify and recommend best course of action from several alternatives.
- High degree of initiative and ownership, attention to detail, and the discipline to follow through on assigned tasks
- Ideal candidates should be working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Arts, Communications or Marketing
