Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician Student PRN who will be responsible for prompt and accurate performance of routine, complex, and specialized clinical laboratory procedures as assigned by the Laboratory Supervisor. The Medical Laboratory Technician Student will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age appropriate care to patients, including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

What You Will Do In This Role:

* You will perform assigned diagnostic test procedures accurately in accordance with the written policies and procedures.

* You will adhere to quality control protocols. You will perform and document proscribed maintenance procedures as instructed.

* You will report work accurately, legibly, and in accordance with the criteria for abnormal and critical values.

* You may be assigned to other tasks and/or required to vary schedule to meet the needs of the Laboratory & patients.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

* Previous laboratory experience in clinical rotations at this facility. Student can only work in the departments they have completed.

* Currently enrolled in a Medical Laboratory Technician program
