Due to our continued growth, we are hiring for an Marketing Director at Wake Research, an M3 company. This is a remote position.

M3 Wake Research is an integrated network of premier investigational sites meeting the clinical research needs of the global biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, pharmaceutical and clinical research organizations (CRO's). M3 Wake Research, Inc. is one of the largest independent Clinical Research multi-site companies in US, with close to 30 owned and managed research sites across the country that is continuing to grow through acquisitions and uncompromising commitment to careful planning and execution in accordance with regulatory compliance.
Conducting studies since 1984, M3 Wake Research owns a proprietary patient database of potential clinical trial participants across USA. As of today, our board-certified physicians have completed more than 7,000+ successful clinical trials, while consistently exceeding sponsor expectations for integrity, timeliness, subject enrollment, human protection, and expeditious delivery of accurate evaluable data.
Mission of the Role:
As a Marketing Director, you will be a key senior leader responsible for the strategic direction and management of the marketing department at M3 Wake Research. You will play a critical role in defining and executing marketing strategies and driving results that align with established business goals. This high-impact role requires extensive experience in clinical trial recruitment, marketing technology, analytics, and a proven ability to lead and inspire teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing, promotional and communications strategies that position company brand, drive lead generation and generate company awareness by engaging prospects and clients.
- Proven track record of marketing budget management and evaluation of marketing activities to drive clinical trial patient recruitment using ROI, productivity and marketing performance metrics.
- Manage and develop marketing programs and campaigns including digital media (social, search, display) and OOH advertising, event support, web presence, patient community outreach, physician outreach, and promotional activity through the marketing mix.
- Establish tested and proven best practices on campaign planning, execution and optimization specific to M3 Wake Research's clinical research sites and study indications.
- Work with Creative Director to create and maintain branding standards and design concepts to meet the business objectives of the organization.
- Provide individual contribution for content creation and execution with business operation collaboration.
- Oversee and manage marketing vendor relationships- define special projects, ensure deliverables are met, and provide status reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related discipline required
- Minimum of 7 years of related clinical trial recruitment experience
- 3 years in a leadership role managing marketing professionals required
- Knowledge of clinical trial recruitment space and effective clinical trial messaging
- Excellent communication, organization and time management skills. Proven ability to influence others and gain buy-in from key stakeholders across all levels
- Ability to successfully facilitate collaboration across multiple functions, departments and levels and serve as a role model for teamwork
- Strong analytics experience and skill set. Ability to synthesize complex data in Excel across multiple sources to glean actionable insights and communicate trends both up and down.
- Self-motivated, innovative, ability to work independently and multi-task.
- Excellent personnel and team management skills including training, mentoring and coaching
- Proven experience in goal setting, tracking, and reporting. Ability to quickly parse complex data to anticipate and/or react to promotional course corrections as needed
- Experience with Marketing Automation tools
