About the position
This individual will be responsible for analyzing data and uncovering valuable insights to help drive our marketing strategies and business growth. This role is a unique blend of a business analyst and a data detective, with a strong emphasis on data visualization, communication skills, and a keen ability to learn and a curiosity to find insights.
The ideal candidate has:
- Proven experience in a data-driven marketing and business analyst role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to uncover insights from data
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform marketing strategies and decision-making
- Work closely with IT and Marketing teams to gather, clean, and analyze data from various sources
- Utilize data and visualization tools such as Looker and BigQuery to present data in a clear and engaging manner
- Communicate findings and insights effectively to all levels of the organization, ensuring that data-driven recommendations are understood and actionable
- Demonstrate a high degree of autonomy, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and presenting new insights from existing data
- Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and industry trends to ensure the company remains competitive and data-driven
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization to promote a culture of data-driven decision-making
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in designing and producing marketing materials.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or other BI tools)
- Proficient in manipulating and retrieving data from SQL databases.
- Hubspot or Salesforce certifications are a plus
